Universal Changing Places is transforming public spaces by promoting powered height-adjustable ADULT changing tables in public restrooms and advancing universal design to create more inclusive places.
We help create environments where people of all ages and abilities including individuals with disabilities, families with young children, older adults, and anyone with self-care needs can participate more fully in everyday life with dignity, safety, and independence.
What Is A Universal Changing Place (UCP)?
A Universal Changing Place (aka Universal Changing Station) is a family/companion care restroom designed for individuals who need additional space, specialized equipment, or care provider assistance. It includes a powered height-adjustable adult changing table and other accessibility features that provide dignity, safety, and comfort for people of all ages and abilities.
Universal Changing Places help people participate more fully in their communities by making public spaces welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.
